We were thrilled to host Diageo's Global Corporate Relations Director, Dan Mobley during a comprehensive tour of KBL's facilities. Our journey included a visit to the Biomass Steam Plant, the Water Recovery Plant, the KBL Brewery, and UDV, where we showcased Rudisha. KBL continues to lead the way in embedding sustainability across our operations—optimizing water use, minimizing waste, and investing in renewable energy solutions ensuring we remain at the forefront of sustainable manufacturing and environmental stewardship. This visit was a proud moment for us as we demonstrated the steps we’re taking towards a greener future, aligned with Diageo’s global sustainability goals. #SpiritofProgress Eric Kiniti JUANITA MRAMBA Waithera Mwai

Training our modern Trade Partners is crucial, as they are the first point of contact with consumers when they step into the liquor section at supermarkets. A fortnight ago, we launched our very first Shelf Stockers training program, guiding our off-trade partners through an intensive two-day session. The training focused on: 1. Our Reserve and Premium Journey 2. Understanding category value 3. Learning the art of perfect serves 4. Demonstrating how to make simple, delicious mixed drinks at home. Led by our Modern Trade Key Accounts Manager, Wilfred Wekesa, MBA, alongside Reserve Brand Ambassadors paul Gachoi and Ndoto Babu, the session was a great success. The team left fully empowered and well-equipped to provide exceptional service to our consumers in trade. A big thank you to our Off Trade Channel Manager Robert Shigoli, Innovations Manager Caroline Wanja, and the entire Emerging Channels team for making this initiative a reality. #TradeTraining #Offtrade365Essentials #RetailExcellence #Teamwork

Last week, EABL had the privilege of hosting Diageo’s newly appointed Global Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Nik Jhangiani. His visit included a tour of our Biomass and Brewhouse, where he commended the impressive transformation and investment the business has undertaken in recent years. Following this, Nik, alongside our Commercial Teams, conducted a trade visit, exploring several premium and emerging businesses while enjoying a cold drink of our favorite brand with customers! He acknowledged the significant strides made in these areas and challenged the team to enhance execution at the point of sale. Mr. Nik Jhangiani, hosting you was a true honour, and we are committed to putting your guidance into action.
