Graphic Designer and Content Creator - Mombasa, KE Position Overview We seek a talented and creative Graphic Designer and Content Creator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to create compelling visual content. Responsibilities Graphic Design: Create visually appealing designs for a variety of marketing materials, including: Product catalogs, Social media graphics, Website banners, Email marketing campaigns, Print advertisements Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels. Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and design creative concepts. Utilize design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva) to produce high-quality visuals. Content Creation: Write engaging and informative content for various marketing channels, including: Product descriptions, Blog posts, Social media captions, Email newsletters. Research to gather relevant information and stay up-to-date on industry trends. Collaborate with other team members to develop content strategies and calendars. Optimize content for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility. Plan, conduct/ supervise product shoots (photography and videography) and editing Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional design skills and a creative eye. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines. Passion for design and a strong understanding of visual storytelling. Photography, videography, and editing skills. Bonus Points Experience in video editing and motion graphics. Knowledge of HTML and CSS for web design. You will be responsible for building strong customer relationships, understanding their needs, and effectively promoting our products within our showroom environment. Key Responsibilities: ·        Customer Interaction: Greet and engage customers, both existing and potential, in our showroom, providing exceptional customer service and assistance. ·        Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication, personalized service, and follow-up. ·        Sales Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities, identify customer needs, and effectively present our products to close deals. ·        Product Knowledge: Gain a deep understanding of our product range, including features, benefits, and pricing, to provide accurate information to customers. ·        Sales Closing: Utilize effective sales techniques to close deals and achieve sales targets. ·        Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing after-sales support. ·        Market Analysis: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. ·        Visual Merchandising: Contribute to maintaining an attractive and organized showroom display. ·        Sales Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare accurate sales reports, and analyze data to identify areas for improvement.   Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree or diploma in sales, marketing, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably in a retail showroom setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities. Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a showroom environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in using sales tools and CRM systems.
