EMBRACING & SOLVING THE COMPLEX.

About us

MMW was founded on the need to create niche and innovative solutions to clients in need for legal services. This means that not all legal services need to be generic and the law firm cannot be a part of the problem. In an industry that prides itself in procedure, linear thinking and predictable outcomes that are tied in precedents, MMW seeks to break this barrier and view things from an innovative lens. Innovation means looking at things differently, challenging the status quo, looking at solutions that offer the client value and not solutions that just add to our bottom line. MMW as a community is therefore Value and Innovative Centric. At the end of the say, money does follow value, not the other way around. Our clients are the driving force towards the realization of our goals and ambitions as a firm. It is through the combined effort of our client and our commitment to excellence that we can attain the status of- Partner of choice. The objectives of the department are therefore a blend of the client experience and the execution of our work with passion, enthusiasm, innovation and excellence. The MMW team thrives on a Sense Of Hunger To Distort The Status Quo, the need to look at matters like gladiators, with a 360 angled approach, t he needto think differently, break the barrier, walk bravely towards unchartered paths. That is why we are here. This is the MMW way!

  • The imminent third year of implementing the NSSF Act 2013 is here and its a tough pill to swallow for both employers and employees. Since the first year of implementation in 2023, NSSF contributions have been gradually increasing, and this year, we’ll see a 100% jump from Kes. 4,320 to Kes. 8.640 as from February 2025. For employers, this translates to higher operational costs, tightening already stretched budgets. For employees, it means shrinking disposable income, further straining their already battered purchasing power. Yet, at the heart of these changes lies a critical goal—ensuring every Kenyan employee secures financial stability in retirement. What does this mean for your pay slip? How can you comply? Dive into our in-depth article, where Stella Muraguri and Michael Muya break down the numbers, the impact, and the way forward.
