In September 2023, Mwananchi Communications Ltd Reporter, julius Maricha, shed light on the potential ethical decline in children raised by multiple housemaids and caregivers with diverse backgrounds and behaviors. His investigation shed light on how childhood upbringing might be linked to issues such as corruption, aggression, financial mismanagement, violence, divorce, sexual harassment, and other moral concerns in Tanzanian society.
