Give me a black page I need a fresh start I might be in a dark room. But I'll switch on the lights I am not tearing any more pages Because I had messed up I will scribble I will draw I will write, Every right an every flaw For I don't need a scrapbook To hide an ugly sketch . I will write, every word and every text. For every story every tale Whether fresh or even stale. Is my tale to tell #poetry #poems https://lnkd.in/dbWpainG

There was no sun , Neither was there the moon. And it came in June , Time was noon. She stepped out of the restaurant. In tow with her mother, maybe her aunt. Some distance away, a man build up and staunt. His aura was domineering and distant. I fetched courage from its hidden pot. I needed a minute to shoot my shot. As I approached, my stomach grew hot, And my mouth cold, to open up not. It is now end of September, And I still have something to remember, About her glaw, like from a hot chamber. I would have taken her to the Alter in December. _© Mwita Chacha poetry_ https://lnkd.in/dHSis5yp Poetry Foundation Poetry Farm Poetry Poetry Community

*Success - A Poem* I hold no dream of fortune vast, I do not ask when life is past Nor seek undying fame. That many know my name. I may not own the skill to rise To glory's topmost height, Nor win a place among the wise, But I can keep the right. And I can live my life on earth Contented to the end, If but a few shall know my worth And proudly call me friend. 😎 Poetry Foundation Poetry Farm Poetry Community https://lnkd.in/dSrU8Q_w
