We’re celebrating ‘Hydrogen Day on November 2nd’ in South Korea, a day dedicated to hydrogen and its potential to unlock a more sustainable future! The celebration event was held in Seoul, attended by the Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy, along with influential stakeholders. During this gathering, 50 remarkable contributors to the hydrogen industry were recognized, including Keunje Lee, Hyundai’s Head of Fuel Cell Business Group. Mr. Lee was honored for his contributions at Hyundai, which include developing the world's first mass-produced hydrogen vehicle, the Tucson FCEV; expanding hydrogen utilization through various fuel cell applications; and establishing HMG's hydrogen ecosystem. Hyundai unveils INITIUM, a new fuel cell electric concept that marks a new ‘beginning’.   Latin for "beginning" and "first," INITIUM symbolizes Hyundai's status as a pioneer in hydrogen energy.  INITIUM encapsulates the company's dedication to hydrogen technology that spans nearly 30 years, and combines the latest convenience and safety features on offer, along with a superior driving range and enhanced performance.
