Korea Post is ready to launch autonomous trucking, adapting to Korea's new regulatory framework. The Korea Postal Logistics Agency, managing the entire volume of logistics for Korea Post, has entered a partnership with Mars Logis, a vertically integrated trucking subsidiary of Mars Auto. Mars Auto's self-driving trucks will connect Korea Post's 23 nationwide hubs through long-haul trucking, ensuring more stable and economic operations. The legislation for paid autonomous trucking, ignited by Mars Auto, passed Congress in January this year and will be enacted tomorrow. Today, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport along with the Korea Expressway Corporation introduced new frameworks to support for self-driving trucks. In March 2023, we became the one and only company in Korea to be granted a special exemption for paid autonomous trucking. Since then, we have expanded our Class 8 long-haul trucking operations based on this exemption. With over 1,200,000 km of proven operational results, we have supported the establishment of the frameworks. Today, Mr. Sangwoo Park, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of Korea, visited the Mars Auto booth to review achievements in autonomous trucking. Among the 750 companies at KOREA MAT, he selected only six for visits, with Mars Auto being the first. Mr. Park praised the leading cumulative miles records of the company and encouraged Korea's sole autonomous trucking startup, promising continued support in the future.

Mars Auto has completed the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration NHTSA's Voluntary Safety Self-Assessment (VSSA). Just as we have partnered with the top 3 logistics and retail companies in Korea on autonomous trucking, we are going to initiate commercial operations in the Texas Triangle (I-10, I-35, I-45) starting in July this year. Mars Auto and CJ Logistics officially begin autonomous trucking for parcel freight. CJ Logistics is South Korea's leading logistics company, handling 1.5 billion parcel shipments annually and operating 24,000 trucks exclusively for parcel freight. Operating six times a week, the service covers a 219km route from Incheon, South Korea's gateway, with highways making up 93% of the journey. Until now, Mars Auto has focused on B2B trucking in Warehouse & Distribution (W&D). For instance, transport involving the loading of 18 standardized pallets. This project is special because it's our initial step into transporting parcel freight. Each truck will carry 5,000 different parcel shipments daily, presenting a more challenging task due to the highly dynamic changes in the weight and physical properties of the cargo. Mars Auto has been granted an industry-first exception for semi-truck autonomous driving by Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Mobility Innovation Committee as of February 16th. Previously, only automakers with the capacity to produce over 2,500 vehicles annually and with self-certification capabilities were permitted to conduct autonomous driving with semi-trucks.
