[ TECHCROSS : News ] There is a way to achieve both environmental protection🌏 and cost savings💰, even if your vessel was not a newly built with eco-friendly technology. By adding minimal auxiliary devices to existing vessels, you can reduce hull resistance or improve operational efficiency, allowing your vessels to travel longer distances with less fuel. This can be achieved by installing Energy Saving Devices (ESDs). Techcross offers various ESDs such as the Rudder Bulb and Divergent Propeller Cap, which improve propeller propulsion efficiency, and the Hull Fin, which reduces hull resistance. These devices can provide approximately 3% energy savings. They are reasonably priced, easy to install, and won't significantly impact your vessel's operating schedule. Additionally, they offer a quick return of investment. [TECHCROSS WATER & ENERGY : NEWS] Techcross Water & Energy won an order for the sewage treatment facility project in Ta Khmau, Cambodia. 🙌 This project, funded by the Economic Development Cooperation Fund provided by the Export-Import Bank of Korea, has a total contract value of KRW 115.7 billion. It aims to improve the living conditions of local residents by preventing groundwater and river pollution, as well as water-borne diseases, through the construction of modern sewage treatment facilities. 💧 💦 The project involves the construction of a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 12,000 tons per day, a main pumping station, six relay pumping stations, 125.3 kilometers of sewage pipelines, and 5.4 kilometers of stormwater pipelines in Ta Khmau, located in Kandal Province, southeastern Cambodia. The theme for 2024 is "Navigating the future : Safety first"🚨 This year's theme emphasizes enhancing maritime safety and security, along with protecting the environment, ensuring the regulatory development keeps pace with rapid technological changes and innovation. New technologies and alternative fuels aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions from ships require advanced safety regulations.
