On September 4th, Norlanka hosted an insightful webinar on Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals for our T1, T2, and T3 suppliers. Led by Mr. Saketh Kulkarni, Implementation Manager at ZDHC Foundation, the session saw 58 participants, including our supply chain partners, engage in discussions on ZDHC Gateway usage, interpreting In-Check and Clear Stream reports, and determining MRSL compliance, followed by an insightful Q&A session. Norlanka makes history as the first Sri Lankan facility to be awarded the Zero Waste to Landfill certification by Control Union. The certification was presented by Mr. Roshan Ranawake, Managing Director of Control Union, On August 15, 2024, CEO Chandana Ranatunga and Amila Jayawardana, Assistant Manager - Sustainability, proudly accepted this milestone, reflecting our commitment to 100% waste reuse, recycling, and recovery.
