Proud to announce the successful conclusion of Silicon Pulse, an initiative dedicated to analog electronics by the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society of SLTC It was an absolute pleasure to lead the first-ever 24-hour event organized by the IEEE Student Branch of SLTC. I had the honor of chairing this event alongside a dedicated organizing committee. I’d like to extend a special mention to our advisory panel—Prof. Nihal Kularatna, Dr. Nicoloy Gurusinghe, Mr. Charlie Karunaratne, Mr. Dhananjaya Yatigammana - Chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch of SLTC, and Mr. Lakshitha Abeywickrama - Chairperson of the IEEE Industrial Electronics Society of SLTC—for their invaluable support.  Heartfelt gratitude also goes to our generous sponsors— GPV and VolfPack Energy Pvt Ltd for making this possible! After a competitive online selection process, this 24-hour intensive program brought together 12 talented teams from universities across the island, challenging them with real-world analog electronics problems. A major highlight was the Colombo Grand Prix—an overnight task that tested participants’ problem-solving skills under pressure. Beyond the competition, Silicon Pulse provided an incredible opportunity for participants to connect with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and build lasting friendships. The perfect blend of competitiveness and collaboration created a wonderful environment to learn, innovate, and have a great time together. A huge shoutout to my amazing organizing team and everyone who contributed to making this event a success!
