Today’s spotlight is on Pack'n GREEN, a Lithuanian company revolutionizing its innovative packaging solution: fully biodegradable fast food packaging made from paper pulp and up to 40% agricultural by-products. What sets Pack'n GREEN apart is its holistic approach: reducing raw material usage, cutting energy and chemical needs, improving biodegradability, and ensuring cost savings through industrial symbiosis. This means using by-products from one industry as raw materials for another, leading to up to 30% raw material cost savings. 🚀 What’s next? The foodservice industry is worth approximately £57 billion, demonstrating strong recovery post-pandemic. The alcohol market contributes over £50 billion annually, driven by consistent consumer demand. In order to reach this goal, we gradually present you our 30 selected Project Cooperation Proposals #Value4Pack30     In response to growing concerns about litter and the need to align with upcoming EU regulations, the LITTERBITS consortium successful demonstrated in Belgium an innovative Digital Deposit Return System (DDRS) for PET bottles and aluminum cans, allowing consumers to scan a code and dispose of their packaging via at home collected waste bags. Early results confirm that DDRS is not only technically feasible but also an economically viable alternative, with costs estimated at 1/3 of a classic DRS. 💡    Want to know more?
