Lietuvos ir Vokietijos UAB „HI-STEEL“ įgyvendina projektą kurio pagrindinis tikslas – mažinti sunaudojamo iškastinio kuro kiekį, keičiant jį alternatyviuoju, bei išmetamų šiltnamio efektą sukeliančių dujų kiekį pramonės įmonės veikloje. Projekto metu įmonė įdiegs naują alternatyvaus kuro įrangą ir įrengs saulės elektrines. Šios investicijos leis Lietuvos ir Vokietijos UAB „HI-STEEL“ sutaupyti 180,03 MWh/m pirminės energijos ir sumažinti CO2 išmetimą 40,03 t/m. Taip pat bus sukurtos 6 tvarios darbo vietos. Bendra projekto vertė yra 454 100,00 Eur, iš kurių 385 985,00 Eur skirta iš Europos Sąjungos teisingos pertvarkos fondo. Projektas pradėtas 2024 m. kovo 27 d. ir bus įgyvendintas iki 2026 m. rugpjūčio 31 d.
