New blog post about green roof and bee hive synthesis from Urbanbee.lt 🌳🐝

Biggest thanks to Guido Wolf and the team at RELEVEN for setting such a good example of how the area can be fully utilised for biodiversity before starting a new building project #HORIZONTAI. This was an amazing experiment for us, to see how the local communities would react to the beehives in an open area. At first, we had some doubts, in terms of vandalism or people being scared of bees. Gladly, both the bees and the local communities were safe and happy. Surprisingly, during our beehive visits, we were approached by some locals and we received some very nice feedback about bees thriving in this area. Therefore, we truly hope that the bees will return once the building is finished and the new tenants can enjoy the company of our little pollinators. 🐝

Impact Day 2024 was an amazing event uniting all the sustainability people from the Baltics and abroad in one place. Big thanks to Samuel Põldaru and his team for organising such an incredible event. Sustainability was well thought through in each step of the event, from refreshments to the decorations and to the actual venue. We had a chance to meet our various business partners and it was such a great pleasure meeting our clients Schneider Electric. ⚡💚 In addition, there were great examples of green urban development at the hosting venue as local community gardens with a terrace for small community gatherings and most importantly the venue hosts 5 active beehives. Go Tallinn Bees! 🐝 🙌

It is always very pleasing to hear such wonderful words and know that we have left a positive impact after our sessions. This way we can all help more bees to thrive in today's world.
