Average household electricity prices (including taxes) in the EU rose from €28.3 per 100 kilowatt hours (kWh) in the second half of 2023 to €28.9 per 100 kWh in the first half of 2024.⚡ 🔥Gas prices decreased from €11.3 per 100 kWh to €11 per 100 kWh. The highest electricity prices for household consumers in the first semester of 2024 were in: 🇩🇪 Germany (€39.5 per 100 kWh) 🇮🇪 Ireland (€37.4) 🇩🇰 Denmark (€37.1) Lowest in: 🇭🇺 Hungary (€10.9 per 100 kWh) 🇧🇬 Bulgaria (€11.9) 🇲🇹 Malta (€12.6) 🔹Between the first half of 2023 and the first half of 2024, household gas prices, including taxes, fell in 15 out of the 24 EU countries that report gas prices.
