Featured on the October page of the 2024 airBaltic Calendar, Dzintra Baltiņa Dika has embraced her role as Guests Administrator with enthusiasm. Her first day, though busy and filled with challenges, felt like a success—a sign that she was exactly where she belonged. “I’m proud to be surrounded by a team of considerate, joyful, and self-respecting professionals day in and day out,” Dzintra says, reflecting on how much she values the positive work environment. Her daily tasks require resourcefulness and quick thinking to handle various situations, but the support of her colleagues and the warm interactions with visitors make it all worthwhile. “Dreams do come true, and I’m doing what I love,” she says, grateful for the opportunity to contribute to airBaltic in her own unique way. One of the perks Dzintra appreciates most about working at an airline is the chance to travel to airBaltic’s diverse destinations. From experiencing the Christmas magic in London to enjoying adventures in Legoland Billund or exploring a museum in Belgium, the opportunities to explore new places are endless. Dzintra also believes in the importance of small moments—like sharing a cup of coffee and a quick chat with her colleagues—as key to a successful and fulfilling workday. These little breaks help her stay energized and committed to her role, where she welcomes every guest with a sincere smile and a warm greeting. Her journey highlights the dynamic and supportive environment, where professionals not only grow but thrive in a setting that values teamwork, passion, and excellence. #lifeatairbaltic #womeninaviation
