𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁 📊 Today, If P&C Insurance presented solid financial results for the fourth quarter of 2024 and full year. 2024 was a year of continued growth, with 6.5% growth for our largest business area Private, supported by high growth in personal risk insurance (11%) and property insurance (6%) in 2024, while new car sales remained weak. Customer retention in Private was still high at 89%. Business areas Commercial and Industrial reported growth of 5.6% and 9.5% respectively. Our Baltic operations grew by 4.8% in during 2024. In 2024, If handled a total of over 2 million claims, with daily claims payouts of SEK 115 million. Property and motor claims volumes remained relatively flat compared to last year, whilst the number of personal insurance claims increased. The year was also characterized by several large-scale claims. 💬 “In 2024 If continued to help our customers a lot. The year started off with a particularly tough winter with more weather-related damages than usual. Thankfully we are well positioned to manage and mitigate changing risk factors for our 3,9 million customers across the Nordics and Baltics", says Morten Thorsrud, CEO.

Sometimes, the best solutions come from thinking outside the box — or in this case, outside the team.💡  When faced with the challenge of ensuring important deliveries for the upcoming development season with limited resources, our Claims Twitter squad tried something different: borrowing a developer from another squad for one supersprint.  Open communication with all parties across all organizational levels, detailed planning and thorough onboarding were crucial to ensuring a smooth transition. While no one was sure how it would play out, the results speak for themselves. All the preparations had paid off, with nearly all the planned improvements completed, providing a seamless performance of a system that our claims advisors and customers rely on every day.    This experiment shows that we can find new ways to tackle challenges when we break down the walls between teams and work together. “What I would recommend to everyone is to think beyond your team and focus on the bigger picture. Have the courage to face challenges and involve others — these challenges often impact more than just your team.
