⁉ Do you remember this flowchart? Great! So you know the exact date for your next #IRATA Rope Access Training to ensure you are on time. And you definitely keep in mind that #IRATATraining and Revalidation Assessment may be undertaken up to 180 days before your certification expiry date without any time penalty. Of course, you also know that to upgrade your current level, you need to have 12 months minimum of experience and 1 thousand logged work hours. Then you'll take your 4-day training course in rope access, rigging, and rescue and a 1-day independent assessment. If you are a #ropeaccesstechnician with another certification, you should know that you may convert from SPRAT, FISAT, or others, saving your level of qualification. 👉 Get more about IRATA training in the IQTC: https://lnkd.in/dHcH4fD And choose us! When you look at jobs in the wind sector, you see the number of certificates candidates must have, and you probably assume, 'I'll have to study for months to get them all...'. But don't be scared ahead of time, and don't pass up the opportunity to work on wind turbines. For example, here are the requirements for a blade repair technician. ✔ IRATA L1, L2 or L3: Rope Access Training ✔ Blade Repair Certificate ✔ GWO BST: Basic Safety Training ✔ GWO ART: Advanced Rescue Training ✔ OGUK Medical and Chester Step All the training mentioned here can be completed in one training center—IQTC, for sure 😉, and with minimal time investment. After all, we attempt to plan the courses so that you can take them sequentially if needed. As for OGUK, this is an assessment of medical fitness to work offshore (in the Oil and Gas Industry or Wind Turbine Installations). This Medical can only be carried out by an OEUK (Offshore Energies UK) Approved doctor. You may find this service near you simply by doing an internet search. See for yourself! At first look, the processes for repairing wind turbine blades and maintaining cleanliness don't seem to be compatible, do they? Just imagine the grinding stage, when everything is covered in white dust. Even before then, there were resins, solutions, fibres, and a wide range of tools. However, it is the cleanliness that indicates your expertise in this area. Read a little more about keeping things clean during blade repair in our new blog post https://lnkd.in/dtngP5_m. It was inspired by Oleg Pilats, one of the regular trainers of the GWO Blade Repair course.

IRATA TECHNICIAN PORTAL 📢 IRATA International has announced the launch of a new portal for technicians. Now all IRATA technicians with a current profile on the IRATA Online System (IOS) can sign up for the portal. As IRATA says, using the portal will reduce time and simplify the assessment process, document turnaround, and personal data control. By the way, after signing up for the ITP, the IRATA technician will be responsible for updating his details through the portal, and Training Member companies will no longer be able to edit them. If this information concerns you, please check your email box; you may have received an official letter from IRATA with the portal introduction and a link to it. Have you not received an email? Ask us: put on + in comments. #iratamember #iratatechnicians #iratatechnicianportal

👌 Accuracy, focus, patience, equilibrium, and restraint all strengthen this instructor's indisputable high level of professionalism. Those who have studied wind turbine blade repair under him attest that he imparts clear instructions and a thorough understanding of the fundamentals early in a trainee's career, allowing them to improve later in repairing damaged blades as they gain experience and become stronger at the techniques.
