After managing three Domino’s Pizza franchises for over a decade, Othman RAZINE and Jamil El Garti noticed that traditional scooters weren’t the best fit for delivery: they were expensive, accident-prone, and inefficient, especially in traffic-heavy cities. Then, they came across a study highlighting electric bikes as the quickest option for navigating congested urban areas. They decided to give them a try for their deliveries and immediately saw the advantages. This sparked their interest in bike-based logistics, and with Asmaa Chakir Alaoui’s startup expertise, they teamed up to create VelyVelo, offering a comprehensive solution for delivery professionals. Last week, entrepreneurs from over 15 countries, including VelyVelo’s team, accompanied by our Entrepreneur Selection & Experience manager Zineb Khayatei and top business leaders from Endeavor’s network, gathered in Dublin for an unforgettable milestone—our 100th in-person ISP! For 27+ years, we’ve continually refined our selection process, meeting in cities from São Paulo to Dubai, Athens to Dublin, to find exceptional entrepreneurs leading impactful businesses. Each year, the quality of candidates and panelists continues to soar, but our mission stays the same: finding entrepreneurs who multiply their impact.
