🇩🇪 Between November 12 and 15, the Republic of Moldova is successfully participating in the international trade fair Electronica 2024, held in Munich, Germany. The event has brought together over 3,600 exhibitors and more than 70,000 visitors from around the globe, making it one of the world’s largest platforms dedicated to innovations in the electronics industry. Moldova is represented by a national pavilion, by Invest Moldova Agency team alongside co-exhibitors: Moldova Electronics Association ACEM and BSW Tech (Bessarabia Software Technology) showcasing the remarkable potential of our electronics sector. This participation provides valuable opportunities for networking and collaboration, strengthening our country’s presence on the global electronics industry stage. ✨ We sincerely thank everyone who has visited our stand and shown interest in Moldova so far! 🔉Between November 11-14, the Republic of Moldova participated at the Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal, with a national stand. The country was represented by 15 startups, Invest Moldova Agency, Moldova Innovation Technology Park and Startup Moldova showcasing the potential of the tech ecosystem at the world's largest technology event. The main objective was to promote Moldova's tech ecosystem and attract international investments. Founders of Moldovan startups had the opportunity to network with over 1,000 investors in attendance and present their innovative projects. Dumitru Alaiba, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, delivered an encouraging message to foreign investors: “An investment in Moldova today can triple in 10 years.” ⚡️Consistent participation at the Web Summit increasingly positions us as a rapidly developing tech hub.

🆕Invest Moldova Agency signed a cooperation agreement with Ukraine-Moldova American Enterprise Fund (UMAEF), with the aim of implementing strategic programs and activities to attract investment, promote the country's image and export promotion. We are proud to announce that with the support of UMAEF, the following initiatives have been and will be strengthened: 1️⃣ Bridge Program, a program to support entrepreneurs through partial reimbursement of travel costs. 2️⃣ Diaspora Invest - A project dedicated to Moldovan citizens in diaspora, providing essential information on investment opportunities, economic sectors with potential and support instruments for innovative and traditional businesses. 3️⃣ Fly Moldova - Program designed to increase Moldova's international visibility and improve connectivity with key markets through strategic partnerships with airlines. 4️⃣ Moldova Business Week - The largest national economic event, that annually brings together investors, companies and leaders from various sectors to discuss economic opportunities and promote Moldova as a strategic investment destination. These initiatives are important steps in strengthening Moldova's position on the global investment map. 🏗 OBERMEYER Group, one of the largest engineering companies in Germany, is opening a branch in Chișinău, Moldova, as part of a strategic expansion.  With 32 offices in 9 countries and over 1,200 employees, the company brings extensive experience in the fields of railway infrastructure, road planning, and urban development.    This step will contribute to the modernization of Moldova's railway network, create local jobs, and support future collaborations in infrastructure and logistics, including in the reconstruction process of Ukraine.  More details in the following article⬇️

#Moldova is rapidly emerging as a prime destination for foreign investment, led by initiatives like Moldova Innovation Technology Park (MITP), which offers a competitive 7% corporate tax rate for IT firms and a simplified IT Visa program for streamlined immigration. 💸 The Largest Company in Călărași, Moldova: Doubling Production with a €1.5 Million Investment. In December 2023, Palplast, a Moldovan company based in region of Călărași, announced it had secured a €1.5 million investment from TeraPlast. Throughout 2024, this investment began to materialize. ✈️ Fly Moldova program aims to enhance the international visibility of the Republic of Moldova and improve air connectivity, thereby supporting the growth of tourism and economic development in the country.    In the November edition, in collaboration with strategic partners such as airBaltic, we showcase Moldova’s cultural attractions and unique natural landscapes, transforming each month into a memorable opportunity for tourists and investors.  In 2024, airBaltic will operate over 100 direct routes to more than 70 destinations across Europe, the CIS, the Middle East, and Scandinavia.  This article was made possible with the support of the USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova.
