Moldova Energy Projects Implementation Unit (MEPIU), is an independent, non-profit legal entity. The task of MEPIU is to ensure the efficient implementation of the projects in the energy sector through their administration, monitoring and coordination in accordance with the Donors’/international financial institutions’ requirements. --- Unitatea Consolidată pentru Implementarea și Monitorizarea Proiectelor în domeniul Energeticii (UCIPE), este o instituție publică, non-profit. Scopul activității UCIPE este de a asigura implementarea eficientă a proiectelor în domeniul energeticii prin administrarea, monitorizarea și coordonarea acestora în conformitate cu cerințele organismelor financiare internaționale donatoare.

  • Energy efficiency measures for the Institute of Physiopneumology within Moldova Energy Efficiency Project financed by the European Union in the Republic of Moldova, the European Investment Bank (EIB), and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The main works: ·      Thermal insulation of walls ·      Replacement of windows and exterior doors ·      Thermal insulation of the roof ·      Thermal insulation of basement ceiling ·      Replacement of the mechanical ventilation with heat recovery ·      Renovation of the interior heating systems ·      Renovation of domestic hot water systems ·      Renovation of Individual Heating Substation ·      Installation of LED lighting and replacement of interior distribution system ·      Installation of a centralized air-cooling system ·      Installation of Photovoltaic system ·      Implementation of the energy management system (EMS) Energy efficiency measures were determined based on the individual needs of the buildings following an energy audit. These measures will reduce energy consumption by up to 20% for electricity and 50% for heat, decrease CO2 emissions, and diversify energy sources, including integrating renewable energy sources.
