At Responsible Business Summit - Mauritius, we'll be working alongside business leaders to turn ideas into action and focusing on real solutions - and addressing challenges including climate action, circular business models, and corporate water stewardship, in line with Business Mauritius’ sustainability strategy. 𝐈𝐁𝐋: 𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 IBL's revenue rose 21% to Rs 61.3 billion during the first six months of the 2024-25 financial year. Operating profit also rose 22% to Rs 3.5 billion despite rising operational and staff costs in Mauritius, while net profit declined by 14% to Rs 2.2 billion, due to a lower contribution from associates as well as higher net finance costs and tax expenses. Our results highlight the strength of our diversified business model and our Beyond Borders strategy, with operations in East Africa and Réunion remaining important drivers of growth for the Group. More importantly, they reflect the dedication of our teams, whom we would like to thank for their excellent work. Find our more here: https://lnkd.in/gzexBQHg
