🌟 Investing in the next generation in Bel Ombre! Since its launch in April 2024, the 'Bouze Zenes' programme has been a catalyst for youth empowerment in Bel Ombre and surrounding regions. Funded by Heritage Villas Valriche and implemented by the Rogers Foundation, with support from Agrïa and Rogers Hospitality, this social initiative has equipped over 100 young individuals with valuable skills in personal development, sports, and employability. After months of engagement, the first edition concluded with a certificate ceremony in November 2024, celebrating the achievements of its young participants. Priscille Noël, Head of Social Impact at Rogers Group, reflects on the programme’s growth: “We started with a small group of about fifty youngsters. As the project gained momentum, our sessions, conducted in collaboration with various NGOs and partners, attracted increasingly more participants. The first graduation ceremony symbolises the successful impact of these young individuals. It has been a privilege to support them from the outset.” 'Bouze Zenes' aligns with Rogers' Sustainability & Inclusive Development framework, reinforcing our commitment to building vibrant and inclusive communities. With the programme continuing in 2025, 'Bouze Zenes' remains committed to fostering meaningful change for the youth of the region. 🎥 Watch how 'Bouze Zenes' is creating impact and read the full story here: https://bit.ly/41nbfsi #RogersGroup #MeaningfulChange

Last week, the Rogers Group had the opportunity to participate in the Regional Research and Innovation Forum, hosted by the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar. Representing us were Mickaël APAYA, Head of Climate Resilience and Regeneration, and Thibault Israel, Energy Manager; along with Julien Lafrésière, Head of Business Development at Ecoasis Energy Solutions, a subsidiary of the ENL Group. Organised under the TWENex project—a collaboration between the Mauritius Research and Innovation Council (MRIC) and the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC), funded by the European Commission—this event was a cornerstone in advancing sustainable waste-to-energy solutions across the Indian Ocean region. ⚡ Mickaël Apaya moderated the panel titled 'What motivates the private sector to adopt research products and what bridges need to be established?', emphasising the crucial role of public-private partnerships in translating research into impactful business practices. Thibault and Julien discussed the path for Bel Ombre’s transition toward an innovative energy model, highlighting our unwavering commitment to sustainable development. 🌍 The forum served as a platform to foster networking among regional stakeholders, encouraging scientific collaboration and exploring new partnership opportunities. #RogersGroup #MeaningfulChange #TWENex
