What a privilege it was to be back at the Conrad Punta de Mita again for my third on-site training in three years. For the first day, I awarded Kennedy Training Network, Inc.'s Heart of Hospitality Certification to a group of 12 front desk, concierge, bellmen, butlers, and PBX operators. In the afternoon, I presented our Contemporary Strategies for Upselling at Registration program for the 11 front desk staff. Ironically, this resort team excels at hospitality, having achieved the Forbes Four Star rating, and also has a hugely successful front desk upselling program. Yet they continue to reach higher every day. As a bonus, I had two summer University Interns in my afternoon class, pictured on the far right, who were working on their very first day in the hotel industry!
