Did you know that only 35.7% of leadership positions in the tourism sector are held by women? Or that gender biases and unequal representation persist in media portrayals of leadership roles? These issues, along with many others, will be discussed in-depth during the presentation of the report published by ATREVIA and Women Leading Tourism. The report examines key topics such as gender inequality, biases in news coverage, and the disparity in leadership representation. While progress is being made, there is still a long road ahead in achieving true gender equality. The first step? Recognizing and addressing these challenges head-on.
