The Gender Equality and Climate Action Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue Call to Action is now LIVE 🚨🚨 Access it here: https://lnkd.in/gRivp5Kr This call to action reflects our commitment to a sustainable and resilient future for Asia and the Pacific region, highlighting that the theme of the 29th Session of the UNFCCC Conference of Parties, “In Solidarity for a Green World” cannot be realised without including diverse voices from the region’s most vulnerable to climate impacts. The Call to Action is based on recommendations gathered throughout the dialogue from both virtual and in-person discussions, and it aims to acknowledge and promote the significant potential of women and girls from diverse backgrounds in driving climate action, among others. #ClimateAction UNFPA Asia and the Pacific UN Environment Programme UN Women Asia and the Pacific

Mutual Learning, Intersectionality and Sustainability: The final two days of the Asia Regional Fora 🌟 We concluded the Fora yesterday, but Thursday was a major highlight for us. We visited a school and a grassroots organisation in Indonesia, where we networked and learned alongside students, and CSE implementers. We applied these learnings yesterday as we discussed sustainability and intersectionality, aiming to strengthen our impact as part of the Right Here Right Now consortium for 2025. With this closure, we are ready to enter 2025 with a drive to improve the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people across all their diversities. #Youth4SDGs #CSE4ALL

Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) has been a key priority area for ARROW and our partners to advance young people’s sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the region. The opportunity to be part of the Symposium Advisory Committee in shaping the #GlobalPartnershipForum on CSE alongside other global experts, professionals and activists is indeed a meaningful engagement for ARROW. ARROW is represented by Shamala Chandrasekaran, and we cannot be more excited to see the impact this Advisory Committee will result in! We will be supporting UNESCO and United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) with the development of the Symposium and content, including reviewing all abstract submissions. #Together4CSE #CSE4ALL Love Matters India International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) AmplifyChange Fòs Feminista World Association for Sexual Health Rutgers - For sexual and reproductive health and rights Faith to Action Network Choices for Youth IFMSA | International Federation of Medical Students' Associations Development Consortium

Talking gender, sexual and reproductive health and rights, and climate actions! First day of the Gender Equality and Climate Action Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue - the discussions were insightful. During the first day of the event, we had a set of advocates, CSO leaders, government representatives, and young activists sharing their local and regional context, best practices and challenges as on the nexus of gender and climate. The conversation also addressed critical factors for accelerating adaptation and mitigation, such as gender mainstreaming in policies, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation, driving progress in policy and practice across the region. #GenderEquality #ClimateAction #MSD UNFPA Asia and the Pacific UN Environment Programme UN Women Asia and the Pacific
