On 7th October 2024, Malay-Sino Chemical Industries Sdn Bhd, (Kemaman), a subsidiary of Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad (CCM), proudly launched a CSR initiative by sponsoring SK Kerteh's cricket team! We are excited to support young talent in sports and education, reflecting our commitment to the community. The event, attended by distinguished guests from the Terengganu State Education Department and the Terengganu Cricket Association, showcased the spirit of teamwork, excellence and passion that we value. A big highlight of the event was recognizing four amazing students who represented Terengganu in the MSSM Under-12 Cricket Championship—future stars in the making! Last night, See Sen Chemical Berhad (Kemaman), a subsidiary of Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad, hosted its much-anticipated annual dinner at the Scapes Hotel in Genting Highlands. The evening was even more meaningful as it was attended not just by our amazing team but also by their family members. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together to celebrate as one big family. On July 23, 2024, we welcomed a group from the 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚 (𝐄𝐢𝐌𝐀𝐒) and the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐃𝐎𝐄) to 𝐂𝐂𝐌 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 (𝐂𝐂𝐌𝐏) for a learning visit! As part of the DOE's training program on environmental monitoring systems, this visit provided opportunity for DOE officers to see firsthand how industry players like CCMP are implementing innovative and sustainable practices. We loved sharing our approach to environmental management and learning from each other!
