Invest Selangor is proud to witness and celebrate the unveiling of the largest DHL Express investment in Malaysia to date, its newly expanded Kuala Lumpur Gateway, located at KLIA Air Cargo Terminal 1 (KACT1), which was officiated by Prime Minister YAB Dato' Seri Anwar bin Ibrahim and attended by notable industry leaders recently. The new RM300 million facility spans 13,422 square meters, which is triple the size of its predecessor. It is the first fully automated sorting DHL Express gateway in Southeast Asia, which is capable of processing shipments four times faster to meet Malaysia’s rising intra-regional trade demands. As Malaysia continues to grow as a preferred omni-sourcing hub, this gateway is a vital link to key markets including the United States, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Germany, and the United Kingdom. We are honoured to attend a meet between H.E. Takahashi Katsuhiko, the Ambassador of Japan to Malaysia, and YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin Bin Shari, Dato' Menteri Besar Selangor (Chief Minister of Selangor). The meeting served as a gesture of gratitude from H.E. Takahashi Katsuhiko to the DYMM Sultan Selangor and Selangor State Government for consistent support in organizing the annual Bon Odori Festival and Japanese investment in the state. Additionally, it marked a farewell call ahead of the Ambassador’s return to Japan on 30th October 2024. We extend our heartfelt thanks to H.E.
