JAKA Robotics recently took the spotlight at two major events: ✨ 🤖 Factory Innovation Week in Japan 🤖 Robot World in South Korea Our award-winning welding application earned the 2024 Best Product of the Year at Robot World, highlighting JAKA's innovation in cobot technology. In Japan, we showcased solutions like visual bolt sorting, engine block inspection, 3D simulation and precision insertion with real-time visual feedback, along with the JAKA Zu20 and JAKA S models. Meanwhile, in South Korea, attendees explored creative applications in drawing, welding and food preparation, demonstrating the versatility of JAKA’s collaborative robots. On October 23-24, 2024, the “Get Together for Robotics” event by PROFIBUS & PROFINET International (PI) took place in Erlangen, Germany, uniting robotics customers, manufacturers and universities to discuss industry advancements. 🤖 Our Vice President Wolfgang Lienke participated in the Robotics Expert roundtable on "Standardization in Robotics," where he shared valuable insights on the Standardized Robot Control Interface (SRCI). The feedback from customers has been positive. "For a programmer, who knows PLC, it is very easy to develop applications using SRCI. Some customers wish to add PLC automation on top of their existing robot programming - also in these cases the implementation of cobots is much easier with SRCI than with TCP-IP, for instance." Addressing customer skepticism around SRCI, he highlighted the importance of practical experience and technical support. “To build trust in customers, they need to experience the benefits of SRCI integration first-hand. That's why we included SRCI into our technical training courses, allowing them to try it out on real appplications.” he shared.
