LHAG is proud to have been invited once again this year by KWAP to participate in its 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 (“𝐃𝐏𝐏”). The programme aims to raise awareness and promote discourse on the importance of data privacy and personal data protection among KWAP employees.  𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟏 We had the pleasure of attending the Opening Ceremony of the DPP officiated by Ybrs. Prof. Dr. Mohd. Nazri Bin Kama, Director General of the Personal Data Protection Department (“JPDP”) and Commissioner of Personal Data Protection Malaysia. Our Partner, Teo Wai Sum, joined a distinguished panel of data privacy experts, namely Encik Mohamad Azrul bin Azmi, Ketua Penolong Pengarah, JPDP, and Professor Abu Bakar bin Munir from Data Protection Experts Asia Sdn Bhd, at the Data Privacy Forum. On 7th September 2024, 34 enthusiastic team members from LHAG spent a fulfilling day at The Assembly Soup Kitchen (T.A.S.K.), rolling up our sleeves to prep, cook, and pack meals for our community. From chopping fresh ingredients to cooking pasta and preparing hearty soups —every task was tackled with joy, teamwork, and purpose!
