We are pleased to announce our collaboration with Melaka ICT Holdings Sdn Bhd (MICTH), the #infrastructure and #telecommunications development arm of the Melaka state government, to enhance broadband connectivity infrastructure for businesses and homes across the state.   Our MoU exchange was witnessed by the Chief Minister of Melaka, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Yusoh, at the launch of Smart Melaka International Conference & Exhibition 2024 (#SMIX2024).   As the state's preferred technology partner, we will leverage our expertise to: - increase broadband capacity through fiberisation of mobile sites - expand fibre-to-the-premise (FTTP) coverage for homes and businesses - strengthen digital connectivity and services at public offices and community centres   We already have a longstanding presence in #Melaka, providing fast, secure and reliable connectivity. With this latest milestone, we look forward to playing a bigger role in supporting Melaka’s journey towards becoming a fully connected and smart state. 

Maxis eKelas recently wrapped up the HIPMaX StoryFest 2024, an English storytelling competition which brought together young #storytellers from across Malaysia through its theme of ‘Celebrating Malaysian Folklore’. Jointly organised by the English Language Teaching Centre (#ELTC) of the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MoE), the competition aimed to enhance communication skills and foster positive values through a fun creative approach. The grand finale, held at Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa, Lembah Pantai, saw the winners honoured with prizes and certificates. A special thanks to YB Fadhlina Sidek, Minister of Education (Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia), and other representative from MoE for joining us at the event. What an action-packed day at our #Recharge: Paintball Tournament! All 32 teams brought their A-game, delivering an unforgettable showdown of skill, energy, and fierce competition. We were thrilled to host students from Imperial College London at our Maxis Business Innovation Centre recently! The day kicked off with a warm welcome from our People & Transformation team, followed by an inspiring session from Faizul Abdullah, Head of Continuous Assurance and proud Imperial College alumnus. The students also had the chance to tour our innovation centre and engage in insightful discussions with two of our talented interns, currently studying at University College London and the University of Warwick.   The event concluded on a high note with a meet & greet with the Imperial College Union Malaysian Society (ICUMS) committee.
