UMSC has been in existence since 1998.It was initially established as an initiative by University of Malaya and the Faculty of Medicine of University to halt the brain drain of medical experts from public sector to the private. Today UMSC consist of over 240 experts across all specialties. Our specialists are not just specialized,but most of them are super or sub specialized. Given the number of sub-specialists within any specialty,it is possibly to form a specialized hospital for each major specialty. Hence, today we are fundamentally a congregation of a diverse specialised hospitals - Malaysia’s Premier Quaternary Hospital.
