Perfumer

We are seeking a talented Perfumer to join our Malaysia team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating fragrances tailored to the South East Asia market, meeting specific aesthetic and technical customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop fragrances utilizing CPL technology, specifically for the South East Asia market.
• Adapt and refine existing fragrances to align with evolving market trends and specific client requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of fragrance prototypes, assessing scent profile, longevity, and overall quality.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, business development, and manufacturing teams to optimize fragrances for various applications.
• Stay informed about current fragrance trends, consumer preferences, and market demands in the South East Asia region to guide creative processes effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of fragrance formulations, including ingredient lists, proportions, and manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and emerging technologies in the fragrance sector.
• Provide technical expertise and conduct fragrance-related training sessions for cross-functional teams and clients to foster relationships and trust.

Skills and Attributes Required:

• Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Fragrance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Perfumer in the fragrance industry.
• Profound knowledge of fragrance chemistry, raw materials, and perfume compositions.
• Exceptional olfactory evaluation skills, particularly with natural essential oils and aromatic perfumery materials.
• Strong understanding of raw material composition, chemistry, and application technologies.
• Proficiency in fragrance evaluation techniques and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel within the South East Asia region as required.
