The Construction Industries Federation of Namibia (CIF) is the national voice of Namibia's construction industry. Founded in 1952 under the name Master Builders Association and registered in 1993 as the CIF, it has for more than 60 years played a major role in contributing to the economic prosperity of the nation by providing the skills and infrastructure required to build a prosperous and competitive environment. The infrastructure that serves our country, the roads we travel on, the homes we live in, the buildings we work in and the schools our children attend, are all products of this industry's work.

NYC launches new youth facility Namibia's National Youth Council (NYC) has launched the NextGen Facility Incubation programme. According to the acting director of the NYC, Sircca Nghitila, the NextGen Facility will offer loans ranging from N$50,000 to N$100,000, prioritising businesses in sectors critical to Namibia's future. Repo Rate: Cut to 7.50% to support the economy and maintain currency stability.
On the 12th and 13th of August 2024, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Namibia held its fourth bi-monthly meeting for 2024 to decide on the appropriate monetary policy stance to be implemented over the next two months. To continue supporting the domestic economy while simultaneously safeguarding the peg between the Namibia Dollar and the South African Rand, the MPC decided to reduce the Repo rate by 25 basis points to 7.50 percent.
