At the Namibia Oil and Gas Conference 2024 #NamibiaOGC24, in a speech read on behalf of the Hon. Minister of Mines and Energy, Mr. Tom Alweendo, Hon. Kornelia Shilunga stated: 'We believe that these discoveries would enable NAMCOR to bring about oil prosperity for all Namibians by fueling our economic growth and providing revenue to the state. To achieve this national strategic objective, we expect NAMCOR to continue enhancing its governance by being more transparent in managing national oil and gas assets. We are also optimistic that NAMCOR will build the required human and institutional capacity to guarantee national oil and gas prosperity.' NAMCOR hears the call of the Hon.
