About us

Africa Plan Foundation is a US based nonprofit, empowering young Nigerians with in-demand tech skills through HackathonAfrica. This fully funded scholarship program offers a 3 month intensive bootcamp followed by internship placements, transforming graduates into proficient web developers. By equipping participants with the necessary knowledge and hands-on practical experience, HackathonAfrica prepares them to excel in today’s technology landscape. What sets our program apart is its seamless transition from training to real-world application. Following the intensive training phase, participants engage in internships facilitated by our esteemed partner tech companies spanning the globe. This invaluable opportunity allows students to further refine their skills in a professional setting while gaining practical experience and insights into the industry. At the heart of our mission is the commitment to empower college-educated youth by providing them with the tools and expertise required to thrive in the ever-evolving tech sector. By focusing on in-demand skills and fostering a supportive learning environment, we aim to bridge the gap between education and employment, ultimately paving the way for a brighter future for Nigerian Youth and contributing to the growth of the global technology industry.
