Our CEO, Obi Ibekwe, was present at the inaugural Coronation Group Women Initiative Network Conference, where she provided mentorship and guidance to young Nigerian female professionals. During her Keynote Speech, she charged the guests and young women to #AccelerateAction and make great strides “from pledge to action.” Obi encouraged the #Women to take up leadership roles, embrace challenges with a growth mindset, be equipped and prepared for opportunities when they present themselves, and be intentional about achieving their goals. #EnterpriseNGR #WomenEmpowerment #FPSSector #Leadership #Mentorship

Building Africa’s Premier Financial Centre: Today, we took another step forward in the development of the Lagos International Financial Centre (LIFC) with a high-level engagement between the Lagos State Government, EnterpriseNGR and CEOs of licensed exchanges operating in Nigeria (Nigerian Exchange Group (NGX Group), FMDQ Group, Lagos Commodities and Futures Exchange (LCFE), AFEX, NASD PLC) Hosted by His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, this strategic meeting provided a platform to discuss key challenges facing our financial markets, including regulatory bottlenecks, infrastructure gaps, and technology limitations. Through insightful presentations—including a global trends analysis by @PwC —and robust discussions moderated by Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede (Chairman EnterpriseNGR and Co-Chair LIFC Council), we explored actionable solutions to enhance market liquidity, innovation, and investment attractiveness. We are grateful for the leadership of His Excellency, the Governor of Lagos State, the valuable contributions from our exchange CEOs, and the continued support of the UK Government who are providing technical assistance to the LIFC project. The LIFC project is not just an initiative—it is a commitment to positioning Lagos as a world-class financial centre, unlocking economic opportunities, and attracting global capital to Nigeria. We look forward to the next steps and continued collaboration with all stakeholders. #LIFC #FinancialMarkets #Investment #PublicPrivatePartnership #Lagos
