Happy 64th Independence Day, Nigeria! Today, we celebrate not just a nation, but the strength, resilience, and rich heritage of over 200 million people! Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, a land of incredible diversity! Home to more than 250 ethnic groups, a booming tech industry, and a vibrant culture that continues to influence the world. As we reflect on Nigeria’s journey over the last 64 years, from independence to becoming one of the largest economies in Africa, let’s also celebrate the spirit of unity that holds the nation together. Did you know? Humans and giraffes both have exactly seven neck bones, even though a giraffe’s neck is a massive six to eight feet long, while ours is just a few inches! This amazing fact reminds us that no matter how different we may seem on the surface, we share more in common than we think. Just like this small biological connection unites us with one of the tallest animals on Earth, Nigeria’s rich diversity is what brings its people together. At FianDerApp, we believe in the power of connection - whether it’s between people from different walks of life or different regions of the world, love knows no bounds. As we celebrate this 64th Independence Day, let’s embrace our differences and recognize the shared bonds that unite us. Happy Independence Day, Nigeria! #NigeriaAt64 #IndependenceDay #ProudlyNigerian #FianderApp #UnityInDiversity

Did you know? On the planet Venus, a day is longer than a year: A single day on Venus lasts as long as 243 Earth days, while a year is 224 Earth days. This means it takes Venus longer to complete one full rotation on its axis, than it takes for it to orbit the sun. Imagine having days that feel never-ending while the years fly by in comparison! 🤯 We’ve all had our own version of long days in September, with packed schedules and busy lives, but doesn’t it feel like the month has flown by? With today marking the last day of September, it's a reminder that that even though the days may seem long, time keeps moving, sometimes even faster than we think. As the planets continue their various orbits around the sun, we're also excited to be launching something special into your orbit! The launch of #FianDerApp is coming soon, and we’re working hard to make sure the wait is worth it. Whether it's meeting someone new, falling in #love or learning fun facts along the way, we're all about helping you make the most of your time! Stay tuned for lift-off.

On September 9th, we said goodbye to a legend, James Earl Jones, at the age of 93. Known for his powerful voice and presence, he brought life to some of the most iconic characters in entertainment history, including King Jaffe Joffer, the King of Zamunda in Coming to America, and his unforgettable voice as Mufasa in The Lion King. But perhaps his most legendary contribution came as the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars. Incredibly, Jones completed the original voice work for Darth Vader in just a few hours, earning only a few thousand pounds. That small action turned into a cultural phenomenon, with his voice becoming one of the most recognized in cinema history. He continued to voice Darth Vader in cartoons and video games, staying dedicated to the role until he was 91 years old—proving that even the smallest actions can leave a monumental legacy. Beyond his voice work, Jones made history by becoming one of the very few people to achieve EGOT status, earning an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award—a testament to his extraordinary talent across multiple fields. And let’s not forget his commanding delivery of the iconic “This is CNN,” which has become synonymous with the network itself. What makes his story even more remarkable is that as a child, Jones struggled with a debilitating stutter and went mute for several years. Through persistence, mentorship, and determination, he overcame that obstacle and became one of the most celebrated voices in history. At #FianderApp, we believe that, like James Earl Jones, even the smallest steps has the potential to lead to great impact. You may not always see immediate rewards, but the significance of your efforts can resonate for a lifetime. #JamesEarlJones #OvercomingAdversity #Resilience #EGOT #DarthVader #Mufasa #KingOfZamunda #FianderApp #SingleAndSearching #Love

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Susan Wojcicki, the former CEO of YouTube, at the age of 56. Her story is one that deserves to be shared, celebrated, and remembered. What many people don’t know is that Susan’s journey played a pivotal role in the creation of one of the most influential companies in the world. Back in 1998, two Stanford students named Sergey Brin and Larry Page were looking for a place to develop their new idea: a search engine that would change the world. Susan, working at Intel at the time, decided to rent out her garage to them, not knowing that she was about to become a part of history. That garage would become the birthplace of Google. Despite being five months pregnant, Susan made the bold decision to leave her stable job at Intel and join Google as employee #16. This leap of faith not only marked the beginning of her illustrious career but also significantly shaped the direction of the company. Her contributions to the development of Google Images and Google Books were just the beginning. In 2006, Susan’s visionary approach led to Google’s acquisition of YouTube for $1.65 billion. Under her leadership, YouTube transformed from a fledgling video-sharing platform into the global powerhouse we know today, bringing in 87% of Google’s revenue by 2012. In 2014, Susan became the CEO of YouTube, a position she held with distinction until stepping down in 2023 due to a lung cancer diagnosis. Her tenure was marked by bold decisions that reshaped the platform and the industry. One such decision was her push to combat misinformation and harmful content on YouTube, despite significant backlash and challenges. Susan also made the bold move of taking maternity leave for her fifth child shortly after becoming CEO, advocating for women's rights in the workplace through her powerful op-ed in The Wall Street Journal. Tragically, Susan also faced immense personal loss, with the passing of one of her youngest sons earlier this year. This, and despite her own battle with cancer, she remained a beacon of strength and resilience until her passing. Susan Wojcicki was more than just a Silicon Valley icon; she was a trailblazer for women, a dedicated mother, and a force of nature who leaves behind a legacy that will inspire generations to come. At #FianDer, we believe in celebrating the stories of those who have shaped the world in profound ways. Susan's story is one of courage, innovation, and unwavering commitment, and it reminds us of the power of taking risks and the impact of leadership driven by vision and heart. Even in death, she continues to inspire us, pushing us to strive for greatness and to leave a lasting impact on the world. RIP Susan Wojcicki. Your legacy will live on, your contributions will never be forgotten, and your story will continue to inspire future generations.

🌟 Navigating the Delicate Balance of Benevolence: Reflections on Kindness Vs Self-Preservation 🌟 In the intricate tapestry of human connections, the threads of kindness weave tales of either gratitude, indifference, or unappreciation. The powerful quote below encapsulates this statement: "Extending favours to ungrateful people is akin to helping vipers. Your benevolence goes unappreciated, and in the end, they still find a way to inflict harm, leaving you with the bitter sting of regret." 💭 Today, let's take a moment to reflect on the delicate dynamics of giving and receiving. How do you navigate the fine line between compassion and self-preservation? We all have personal stories of how our kindness was thrown back at us, and many of us have faced the consequences of misplaced benevolence. 💡 Does this imply that we should cease being kind and benevolent? We think not. Instead, let's be quick to discern ingratitude in people and protect ourselves from their potential sting. Strengthening our ability to navigate these nuances contributes to a more mindful and impactful approach to kindness. #FianDerApp #FianDerQuotes #SelfPreservation #LoveAndKindness
