THE SON OF A COMMON PEPPER MILLER MADE IT TO THE WHITE HOUSE !!! Sincerely, I do not know what to write, all I can say is that I am thankful to Allah (God) and I am grateful for the opportunity given to me by Mandela Washington Fellowship and IREX to represent Nigeria on the visit the Vice president office, Eisenhower Executive Office Building. It is with so much joy that I am writing to every dreamer that your dreams are VALID irrespective of where you come from. All you need is to keep pushing and believe in yourself. It is an amazing experience to have sat down on the same seat where important world leaders have sat to discussed issues around international policies for Africa. I was able to learn how America is working with African countries. I appreciate what the NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration are doing on the mission to educate every child on space and related topics, it is a step in the right direction and I am to be part of it, so that one day, Africa children can also be on the first seat of space exploration. I just wanted to echo the popular word of a friend, Tunde Onakoya which is " It is possible to do great things from a small place" I look forward to working with Seyi Makinde upon my return in Oyo state and I am committed to continue working with Ogun State Government SUBEB and also to explore other opportunity with Dapo Abiodun to ensure we close the gap of inequality of access to quality education in the state. I am looking at all opportunities to work with Federal Ministry of education to leverage on technology and what I do Coachfrika to improve the professional capacity of teachers across Nigeria, most especially in the north. I am open to any suggestion or networks that can make this work. The real work just BEGAN! The story of a son common pepper miller from Ibadan would be told one day. I do hope to inspire one person today, that you are VALID, so does your DREAM. USAID Future Perspectives MSII SDG Fund 1MT CARES
