Yesterday our CEO, Somachi Chris-Asoluka, hosted Massimo De Luca, European Union Head of Cooperation, covering EU engagement in Nigeria & ECOWAS. The meeting discussed the expansion of our existing partnership with the European Union to empower even more entrepreneurs across Nigeria, and across the continent. Through our partnership with the EU, we have empowered over 3,300 young women entrepreneurs across Africa who have created tens of thousands of additional decent jobs across the continent. Many of these women entrepreneurs have also each secured additional funding of up to €50,000 through our second stage partnership with the EU through the Women Entrepreneurship for Africa (WE4A) Programme. We remain committed to our mission of empowering a new generation of young entrepreneurs who will increase job creation, drive poverty alleviation and ensure inclusive economic opportunity.
