Decisions with a life-changing impact!!! After attending my very first Women In Management, Business & Public Service (WIMBIZ) annual conference in 2022 and seeing first-hand the impact it had on my perspectives, career, marriage and life in general, I made it a point to set aside time in my calendar for the annual conference, as well as volunteer and participate in Wimbiz activities throughout the year and this decision has been a game changer for me. Through WIMBIZ, I learned the value of growth through service. I've had the opportunity to serve on two committees—first on the Advocacy Committee in 2023 and then on the Membership Committee in 2024. These experiences have not only empowered my voice but have also taught me how to pursue my goals with purpose. WIMBIZ has opened doors for me that would normally require significant connections to access. It has enabled me to build valuable relationships and provided a platform for me to see, hear, learn, and strive toward becoming the best version of myself. When you’re truly committed to WIMBIZ, it’s impossible to remain the same. I woke up filled with great anticipation for the upcoming 23rd Annual Conference. I know it will be an electrifying experience because "WIMBIZ no de fall hand." I'm even more excited because I'm attending not only as an associate but also as part of the delegation representing the Central Bank of Nigeria.
