At the end of September, the unmissable event for micromechanics professionals took place: The MICRONORA exhibition in Besançon (France). We’re very excited and pleased with this milestone, line 1 and 2 of 16 projected are operational 💪! We completed trial runs on our new equipment in our new facility in Mexico. Our team in Mexico has been trained in our location in Chicago. Two of our senior engineers travelled with our head of tooling and equipment design to Mexico for the start-up and sample run. Waste treatment system worked, infrastructure all fired up and supported our runs with chemistry and metal plating. In September we were happy to have our surface treatment and polymer plant manager meeting in Kerpen, which was a great opportunity for an information exchange. Presentations about Health and Safety issues 🦺, Automation processes and synergies within Aalberts surface technologies led to interesting discussions and conversations. Furthermore, topics like Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing 🤖 and Performance Management were presented. Breakout sessions completed the days and made it easy for our plant managers to work together in smaller groups and connect.
