𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 | Cyber Resilience Act: Nieuwe cybersecurityverplichtingen voor softwareleveranciers De Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) stelt strenge eisen aan software en andere digitale producten. Softwareleveranciers die commerciële producten met digitale elementen op de markt brengen, moeten voldoen aan duidelijke verplichtingen op het gebied van security by design, security by default en doorlopend onderhoud. Onze specialisten Renée Schipper en Bente van Dijk gaan in dit blog dieper in op de impact van de CRA. De wetgeving verplicht fabrikanten om voorafgaand aan de marktintroductie te voldoen aan strikte beveiligingsstandaarden en deze gedurende de volledige levenscyclus te handhaven. ‘Launch-and-forget’ is daarmee verleden tijd. De gevolgen van niet-naleving zijn aanzienlijk: de CRA voorziet in boetes tot €15 miljoen of 2,5% van de wereldwijde omzet. Softwareleveranciers moeten nu actie ondernemen om compliant te blijven.
