Not every customer communicates with businesses the same way. Some live in their email inbox. Some only check their texts. Some won’t see it unless it’s in WhatsApp. It’s why you need to be everywhere. It may seem like overkill, but brands see 3x the ROI when they communicate with customers on 4+ channels. And you know what can help? Having one platform where all your customer communications live. Bird lets you create, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns across email, SMS, WhatsApp, and every other messaging channel your customers might check. We’re talking Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Apple Messages, and more. P.S. We’re also up to 90% more affordable than the top email and SMS vendors.

60% of consumers will take six or more actions before buying a product. Here’s an example of what a customer journey could look like: 1. A user sees an ad on Instagram 2. They visit a Shopify store 3. They opt into communications via a branded sign-up form 4. They receive a reminder on their chosen channel (SMS, WhatsApp, email, etc.) 5. They return to the Shopify store and check out In other words: Your customers are omnichannel. Is your business keeping up? You can see every interaction you’ve had with your customers in Bird. That way you have all the information you need to convert customers faster. Your customers are everywhere. But all your customer communications can live in one location.

We tend to take our most basic needs for granted: food, water, air, and of course—shelter. The People for People Foundation, started by our co-founder, Robert Vis, has been providing aid for refugees since 2022. Last year, the People for People Foundation responded to devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Morocco. A year later, many are still living in those shelters—which were supposed to be temporary. That’s why the People for People team launched modular shelters that provide sustainable long-term housing. They can be assembled in just hours to provide immediate relief for those in need. These shelters were created in partnership with IKEA Foundation, UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and Better Shelter. There are so many ways that you can help the People for People Foundation: 🫶 Share your expertise 🫶 Exchange knowledge 🫶 Volunteer 🫶 Share your network 🫶 Donate goods or services 🫶 Donate funds Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e72AnkEm

There’s a reason 40% of all commercial emails are sent through our APIs. Bird’s email APIs help you make data-driven decisions and take action—fast—to improve your campaign performance. 👏 Zillow saw a 161% open rate improvement. 👏 Iterable scaled up sending to 1,000 emails per second. 👏 Eventbrite saves hours on email operations. Here are three reasons Bird’s APIs are the best in the world 👇

When people ask us which is the best channel, we say: All of ‘em. As in, whichever channels your customers are on, that’s where you should be. We also get that the channels that perform best look a little different for everyone. If you have a large subscriber list, email is probably where it’s at. If your audience is international, WhatsApp might work wonders. We ran a poll last year asking people which channel is most effective for them. Our big three—SMS, email, and WhatsApp—all got lots of votes. But WhatsApp clearly won out. So we’re wondering: Which channel is working best for you in 2024?

When we say we have the world’s leading email APIs, we aren’t exaggerating. Here are three stats to prove it 👇 💌 Companies like Eventbrite, Iterable, Guardian Life, and Zillow trust us to deliver almost 40% of both B2B and B2C emails worldwide—6.5 trillion emails every year. 💌 Whether you send 100 messages or a billion, you’ll see the same low latency—less than 2 seconds in transit. 💌 You can use our APIs to send up to 500 million messages per hour—more than 138,000 messages per second. Send emails at scale, reliably, securely, and quickly.
-
Confident you know who’s sending your SMS? Too many SMS vendors pass delivery off to third parties—despite deliverability being the most important factor. This opens the door to a whole host of problems, including: ❌ Inability to reliably send messages abroad ❌ Problems troubleshooting technical issues ❌ Not getting international traffic approved Bad SMS deliverability may be driving up your CAC. So… do you know if your provider uses a middle man?

Why do we offer a 90% discount on SMS compared to our biggest competitor? We didn’t make this decision because we wanted to crush the competition. (That’s just a side effect.) We did it because we wanted to serve our customers better. Most messaging companies have non-transparent pricing models. They charge artificially high markups, passing the cost on to their customers and pocketing the profit. We don’t think that’s fair. *That* is why we made this change. This is what our Founder & CEO Robert Vis had to say about it during Founders Forum Live 👇
