In partnership with Soho House & Co and in collaboration with WaterBear Network we discussed what happens when businesses think beyond their own brand and push for industry-wide transformation. As part of For Better, Publicis Groupe NL's initiative to normalise the actions, innovations, & choices others are already taking for a better future, our event "Bridging the Sustainability & Marketing Gap" brought together thought leaders at Philips, WaterBear Network, Oatly, & Ellen MacArthur Foundation to explore how these two powerful forces can break down silos and create space for better collaboration. 🚀 Josefien Olij (Philips) took us behind the scenes of the "Better Than New" refurb campaign, proving that repair can be just as sexy as new. She broke down the importance of ditching tired "sustainability codes" (👋 green shrubs and circular arrows) and the importance of her partnership with creative & cultural powerhouses such as Lepub and Paper Magazine to bring refurb into culture. 🎬 Sam Sutaria (WaterBear) led a powerful discussion with Sarah Sutton (Oatly) and Sebastian Egerton-Read (Ellen MacArthur Foundation), showing that circular businesses aren’t just possible—they’re already outperforming. With 55% of businesses already mapping out circularity ♻️, the challenge now is scale 🚀—and that’s where storytelling comes in 🎬📢. Luckily, a more conscious consumer is shaping a more conscious workforce 🧠🌍, giving us the opportunity to build a stronger internal story—one that empowers us to move beyond the gaze of our own brand and embrace a more collaborative journey toward market-level change. Blue Monday, dubbed the saddest day on the calendar, falls on the third Monday of January - a perfect storm of failed resolutions (RIP dry January), bleak weather (hello eternal drizzle), and post-holiday gloom (#back2school). To combat the winter blues we had a day of positive programming starting with a gut cleanse shot, courtesy of our in-house vegetarian cafe, Hutten. Later, Mental health expert Robbert Maruanaija, from re.studio, shared his insights and approaches drawn from working with professionals in various creative and high-performance fields. He introduced our exciting partnership giving employees the chance to win an in-person coaching session. Later, we dove into the transformative power of breath with a workshop led by Rumah Yoga Amsterdam, exploring practical tools for relaxation, stability, and clarity. And to wrap it up, we encouraged employees to make the most of their company-sponsored ClassPass memberships!

This year we hosted our annual holiday party at Tilla Tec. Formerly De School, the interior of this iconic Amsterdam nightclub lead our creative direction - with its vibrant color scheme we decided to turn the most wonderful time of the year into the most colorful time of the year. Around 400 colleagues joined us, dressed head to toe in a color, with surprise elements such as a champagne toast in La Loueme vintage glass, a snowy winter garden made possible with 4 snowblowers, 3 course sit-down dinner by renowned chef of DS and Zacht Staal, Lenny Ylstra, and a dinner-show performance by Ghetto Funk Collective. The afterparty featured a winter garden complete with a Jägermeister Karaoke Igloo, and our very own night club “Clublicis,” with DJ’s Sophieke, Sunny, Daphne, and User Generated Soundsystem.
