Looking back on one of the more complex projects I’ve had the opportunity to lead the WAN design, for a multinational pharmaceutical company going through a major SD-WAN roll-out during a separation. What made this project stand out was balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders — architects, security teams, operations and leadership—all while planning and executing a seamless migration across hundreds of sites. It wasn’t just about the technology, it was about managing expectations, aligning everyone, and delivering results without disruption.
