De thermische warmtepomp van Cooll vervangt de cv-ketel in bestaande of nieuwe woningen. Onze warmtepomp wordt aangedreven door aardgas of waterstof en is geschikt voor verwarming op lage én hoge temperatuur. Ondanks dat er warmte uit de buitenlucht onttrokken wordt, is er geen losse buitenunit nodig. Dat resulteert in een reductie van gasverbruik en CO2-uitstoot van 30 tot 40%, zonder toename van het elektriciteitsverbruik.

🎤 Eurogas held a workshop for its members last week on thermally driven #heatpumps. 🔎 Ahead of the winter season and in the context of the European Heat Pump Action Plan set to be unveiled in early 2024, Eurogas members enjoyed a comprehensive overview of the state of these technologies and the #innovations moving them forward. 🔦 The workshop also focused on heat pumps' ability to employ renewable and low-carbon gases, which will be necessary for decarbonising the gas sector in line with our climate goals. #rlcf #greentransition #energytransition #greendeal #fitfor55

Cooll’s thermally driven heat pump containing our patented adsorption technology has been awarded the KIWA EU Type Examination certificate. Congrats to our technology team! This means our technology has been independently reviewed and approved on a wide range of safety aspects: the Pressure Equipment Directive, Low Voltage Directive, EMC directive and now also the Gas Appliance Regulation. A lot of directives which all lead to a heat pump design which is cleared for safe use in houses, apartments and other buildings. This certification represents a crucial step in the commercialization of our unique technology which enables savings of 30-40% in gas consumption (and CO2 emissions) in comparison with traditional condensing boilers. As a crucial bonus, the Cooll heat pump technology is hydrogen ready, which is another enabler of a different route to the decarbonization of heating, using the existing infrastructure rather than causing congestion in electricity networks while keeping houses at a comfortable temperature, even in Winter times. Thermally driven heat pumps are an important piece of the puzzle called the Energy Transition.
