CowManager geïnstalleerd bij de winnaar van onze RMV-actie : een melkveebedrijf V.O.F. Ter Steege In oktober stonden we op de RMV-beurs en daar was volop interesse in onze Win een gratis CowManager systeem actie. 🤩 We zijn blij te kunnen melden dat de winnaar inmiddels bekend is! Het winnende bedrijf is een melkveehouderij met 160 melkkoeien en bijbehorend jongvee. We hebben ons systeem daar nu geïnstalleerd, inclusief 50 sensoren, een coördinator en een router. De komende zes maanden gaat de melkveehouder het systeem uitgebreid testen. Ze gebruiken momenteel een ander monitoringsysteem dat regelmatig storingen heeft, en zullen in deze periode een keuze maken. CowManager is een van de drie genomineerden voor de Agribusiness Award 2025. Naast het monitoren van koeien hebben wij nu ook een methode ontwikkeld om bij kalveren in een vroeg stadium ziektes en gedragsveranderingen te detecteren. Wij denken dat melkveehouders er goed aan doen om het monitoringsproces zo vroeg mogelijk op te pakken, omdat dit veel effect heeft op de prestaties van de volwassen koe.
