Sohaib began his journey with us in 2015 as an Accounts Administrator and has since progressed into several roles, including Assistant Financial Controller, Group Controller, and now Senior Regional Financial and Business Controller. We’re incredibly proud to celebrate his achievements, from supporting the successful launch of over 17 hotels across the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands, to receiving the Cycadette of the Year award in 2019 and Team of the Year in 2023. We are delighted to announce that Cycas Hospitality has been appointed to manage the Radisson Hotel Group hotel within the new landmark Oxford United Football Club stadium. This 180-bedroom hotel will feature Radisson's signature Scandinavian design and offer amenities such as an open lobby bar, bistro café and restaurant. Located within the eco-friendly, all-electric 16,000-seat stadium near Kidlington, the development also includes a conference and exhibition centre, providing significant benefits to both visitors and the local community. Last week, our Cycas Hospitality sales team came together in Paris for an inspiring two-day session focused on harnessing data-driven decision-making to enhance performance. Cycas Hospitality expands to Portugal! This week, we’re excited to announce that Cycas is making its debut in Portugal, bringing Marriott International’s Autograph Collection to the UNESCO-listed region of Sintra. This landmark project marks our first venture into the Iberian Peninsula and strengthens our presence in Southern Europe, as we continue to grow with over 55 hotels across 13 European countries. Set to open in summer 2026, the unique resort-style hotel will comprise 15 distinct buildings, featuring rooms, suites, and villas, along with a signature sea-view wedding suite. Guests can enjoy multiple dining experiences and wellness facilities, offering a connection to the site’s restorative properties. The mock-up rooms at Moxy Le Havre have been officially finished, giving us a sneak peek into the vibrant, stylish experience that awaits guests. Ideally located in the heart of the city, between the port, beach, train station and marina, the 86-room hotel is set to open in early 2026. Le Havre is France’s first hub for international trade, and the hotel opens onto one of the world’s busiest maritime routes - the English Channel. Situated just 2 hours from Paris, this exciting project is part of a major revitalisation effort in Le Havre, nestled within one of the city’s nine historic and emblematic plots.
