The spin-off Kaminari Medical from Erasmus MC has developed a groundbreaking imaging technology for cardiovascular care. By combining advanced #photoacoustics and #ultrasound, it provides better visualization of blockages in coronary arteries. This enhances the effectiveness of heart catheterizations and improves patient care. Demcon life sciences & health is contributing to product development and Demcon investment is now participating in an investment round of €3.8 million. It was exciting to see such a wealth of expertise gathered in one room, right here in our office! Innovation is a key driver in both the #Brainport region and the Nordics, particularly in #Sweden, which is advancing rapidly in Medtech and Biotech. We had the privilege of hosting a delegation of 15 representatives from the Region Halland, including regional government officials, members of the Municipality of Falkenberg, the University of Halland, and a cluster organization.   The visit began with a presentation by Edwin Beckers, introducing Demcon life sciences & health, followed by Marnix Zoutenbier, who presented Demcon data driven solutions. We then showcased a variety of demos, including an immersive VR demo.   This visit strengthened the connection between our regions.
