Dusk is hiring! We have a position for a Head of Product, who will be responsible for turning our Zedger product suite and DLT-TSS documentation into a scalable product that can be seamlessly integrated by financial institutions, such as MTF exchanges. Responsibilities - Lead the productization of the Zedger product suite and DLT-TSS documentation, ensuring seamless integration with MTF exchanges and financial institutions while driving product strategy across tech, business development, legal, and marketing teams. - Coordinate backend and frontend development to support tokenized and non-tokenized asset settlements, while providing end-to-end tokenization tools for institutional partners in compliance with regulatory standards. - Develop and maintain relationships with institutional partners and regulators, ensuring successful product integrations, regulatory compliance, and adoption of Dusk's technology within regulated financial markets. - Define product roadmaps and service-level agreements (SLAs), setting clear deliverables, timelines, and KPIs to track product success and ensure operational reliability for clients adopting the Zedger suite. Requirements - Proven experience as a Product Manager in fintech or regulated markets, with a strong understanding of financial regulations, asset settlement, and blockchain technology (DLT and smart contracts). - Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving product strategy, particularly in the context of complex, regulated environments like MTF exchanges or financial institutions. - Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to engage with regulators and institutional partners to ensure regulatory compliance and smooth product integration. - Entrepreneurial mindset with excellent project management skills, capable of handling multiple initiatives simultaneously, developing product roadmaps, and measuring performance through key metrics. - You are located within timezones UTC and UTC +3. The event agenda was very well curated, and it was great to see that many high-level industry leaders were open to share their insights and I truly enjoyed meeting many like minded people. Here are some of my key takeaways: 🔑 1. DLT Adoption Accelerating in Regulated Markets: As highlighted in several sessions, issuance on DLT platforms is rapidly gaining traction. This is driven by the need for increased transparency, efficiency, and security in transactions. Financial institutions are exploring DLT to improve cross-border settlements, reduce counterparty risk, and streamline processes across fragmented markets. 🛡️ 2. Regulatory Considerations: Regulatory frameworks continue to evolve, shaping how DLT can be leveraged in post-trade. The event emphasized the importance of regulatory clarity to facilitate widespread DLT adoption. This aligns with ESMA’s ongoing efforts to streamline post-trade processes and ensure that DLT-based platforms meet stringent compliance standards. 📊 Data Privacy and Security: The conference highlighted that data privacy remains a significant concern, especially with decentralized technologies. Ensuring privacy, security, and compliance with international standards is non-negotiable in the regulated space, and DLT is evolving to meet these demands. 🔛3. Collaboration is Key: Several panels stressed the importance of collaboration among financial institutions, tech providers, and regulators. To fully realize the benefits of DLT, a harmonized approach and industry-wide standards are needed to bridge traditional and blockchain-based systems, ensuring seamless integration and compliance. Summarizing: It’s clear that DLT is transforming the regulated financial sector. As DLT continues to mature, the focus will shift towards compliance, scalability and interoperability. Many speakers noted that the technology has proven its value, and they are shifting their focus from proof-of-concepts to looking into real business use cases and adoption for large-scale financial markets. DLT is no longer just a vision for the future—it’s here, and Dusk is at the forefront, supporting the regulated financial sector to embrace this shift securely and efficiently.
